The Under Fire series is targeted for older teens. It’s suitable for ages 15+. What you’ll find in these books:

 

• Violence, threats of violence, fear, and tense situations. Weapons used. Characters involved in battle. Blood, pain, and injuries are mentioned or described without graphic details. 

• Implied profanity or mention of a character swearing. (Example: “He dropped the F-bomb.”) 

• References to drug use and sexual activity. One scene in Among the Flames involves a character who is intoxicated. 

• References to dark spiritual forces. 

• Physical intimacy level: kissing, hand holding, hugging.
